Metalvar was established with the main objective of promoting and developing the flame technique in the anti-corrosive sector. During its development, the company extended its techniques to various sectors, establishing its activities on the basis of specific guarantee parameters and through continuous discussions with the Client.

Sandblasting

SANDBLASTING
This is the first important stage in our production cycle. It involves two types of fundamental functions:

- removing all impurities from the surface
- rendering the surface as coarse as possible in order to ensure better adhesion in subsequent stages.

We can carry out this operation with automatic, manual or even mobile equipment for work in building yards. This technique is mainly carried out on carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminium.

Metallizing with zinc

METALLIZING
This stage must performed as quickly as possible after the sandblasting operation to prevent oxidation of the surface.
The metal applied can be zinc, aluminium and a zinc/aluminium alloy.
This has the purpose of protecting the base metal from any corrosive phenomena.
The thickness of the layer applied can range from 50µ fino a 500µ..

Varnishing

VARNISHING
The third and final main stage in our production cycle is carried out with equipment spraying epoxide and polyurethane oven-dried liquid varnishes.
